Mailing list members are people that have registered for a given mailing list to get periodic emails, such as weekly newsletters. If the mailing list client application that is used to manage the list allows it, you can also authorize mailing list members manually, but in this case such email messages may be looked upon as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Basically, these members can unsubscribe from a mailing list by clicking on a link in the messages they receive, or you, being the mailing list admin, can delete them manually if they ask for this or in case you reach the decision that some of the mailing list members should not be part of the list anymore. Each mailing list member will be able to view only their own address in the "To" field of the email messages they get, but not the addresses of the other mailing list members.

Mailing List Members in Shared Website Hosting

The feature-stuffed Majordomo mailing list manager that comes with our shared website hosting will grant you complete control over the members of any list that you set up via the Hepsia Control Panel. You will be able to include or remove mailing list members by sending an email message to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any place without even needing to sign in to the hosting Control Panel. If you import a mailing list member manually, they will get a confirmation request that they have to accept in order to join the list. Once they do that, they’ll receive an email with the list’s policies and options. You’ll also be able to view a thorough list of all your subscribers and to keep track of who’s receiving your newsletters or any other type of periodic electronic correspondence.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you order a semi-dedicated server from us and you create Internet mailing lists through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you will be able to manage all your mailing list subscribers without difficulty. We offer one of the most widely used mailing list applications called Majordomo. It will permit you to see all your mailing list subscribers, to authorize new or to remove existing ones by sending an email message to the mailing list’s admin address, so you can manage everything without even logging into your Control Panel. Needless to say, only you, being the mailing list admin, will be able to achieve that. New members need to approve their membership, so the messages that you send will be authorized and you won’t need to bother about messages getting reported as spam. We also have a selection of instructional articles where you can find more info about how to administer the list itself.
