.NAME Domains

Established in 2001, the Dot NAME top-level domain extension is the single TLD meant for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other designations people are popular by. At the beginning, solely third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to secure john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Existing 3rd-level names remained working.

Through our firm, you can register your .NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will have the chance to alter the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registrar firm and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been completed. There are no special regulations on who can register a .NAME domain name, but in order to maintain the objective behind its establishment alive, the .NAME Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration might be challenged.

The .NAME generic top-level extension is one of the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no added cost. In this way, your .NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the accurate spelling in your local language.
